From Scratch to Release: Electronic Music Production Essentials

This workshop will dive into the essentials of electronic music production, covering techniques in sound design, sample manipulation, and creative approaches to music-making on your computer. Participants will explore the process of remixing songs, engage in beat battles, and receive feedback on their own in-progress tracks. Open to producers of any level, whether beginner or advanced, and compatible with any DAW, this workshop is designed to help you create industry-quality music without the need for a professional studio or extensive equipment. Attendees will explore a range of electronic and hip-hop genres, learning how to push boundaries, think outside the box and elevate their production skills.

The workshop is open to anyone interested in electronic music production. A laptop with a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) is required.

Ηλεκτρονική Μουσική: Από την αρχική ιδέα στην κυκλοφορία

Το εργαστήρι θα εμβαθύνει στα βασικά στοιχεία παραγωγής ηλεκτρονικής μουσικής καλύπτοντας τεχνικές όπως σχεδιασμό ήχου, επεξεργασία samples και δημιουργικών προσεγγίσεων κατά τη διάρκεια της παραγωγής σε έναν υπολογιστή. Οι συμμετέχοντες θα εξερευνήσουν τεχνικές remixing και θα συμμετάσχουν σε beat battles, καλύπτοντας μεγάλο φάσμα του hip-hop και της ηλεκτρονικής μουσικής. Ανοιχτό σε παραγωγούς οποιουδήποτε επιπέδου, το εργαστήρι θα τους εφοδιάσει με τα απαραίτητα εργαλεία για παραγωγή ηλεκτρονικής μουσικής σε home-studio.

Το εργαστήρι είναι ανοιχτό σε άτομα που τους ενδιαφέρει η παραγωγή ηλεκτρονικής μουσικής. Απαιτείται laptop με οποιοδήποτε Digital Audio Workstation (DAW).

Cost of participation is set at €232.50, including 5 lunch meals and a Louvana Records gift bag.

All registrations secured and paid for will include a 50% discount for one non-transferable three-day ticket to Fengaros Festival (Kornos, 31 July - 2 August 2025).

Refundable cancellations or change of selected workshop will not be accepted beyond the 17th of June 2025.

Participants will get to sign up for their workshop of choice, but will still get to attend sessions of the two other workshops within their pillar, as well as two lectures with instructors outside their pillar.

Cost of participation for the one day KoullouMakka workshop is set at €65.00 including 1 lunch meal.

Οι συμμετέχοντες θα εγγραφούν στο εργαστήρι της επιλογής τους, θα συμμετέχουν σε δύο συναντήσεις των εργαστηρίων του ιδίου πυλώνα, και δύο διαλέξεις από εισηγητές των άλλων πυλώνων.

About St. Mary

Mary Stephanis, also known as St. Mary, is a Cyprus-born electronic music producer and DJ based in Los Angeles. Over the past five years, she has established herself in the music industry, releasing tracks under prominent labels such as Universal Music Group, Trap Nation, and Cloudkid, amassing millions of streams across her catalogue. Her breakout single "Blind" has received over a million plays on Spotify, leading to official remixes for Grammy-nominated artist Dave East and collaborations with emerging artists like Reo Cragun and One True God.

Mary's musical journey began at age six with twelve years of classical piano lessons, providing her with a solid foundation for her transition into electronic production. She is a graduate of Berklee College of Music, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Electronic Production and Design, and continued her studies in Music Business at UCLA.

Mary has been performing at esteemed venues around the United States, including Avalon Hollywood, Academy LA, and Kingdom Austin, and has showcased her work as an electronic act at festivals like SXSW and Fengaros Festival in Cyprus. Her genre focus spans EDM, Trap, Electro-Pop, and Underground Bass music, reflecting her diverse musical interests and expertise.
