Cypriot-born, Lebanese-Palestinian musician, Zeyn Mroueh creates industrial soundscapes and experimental ambient music. He composes primarily on the guitar using an array of effects and samples to distort and manipulate traditional music into atonal sound experiences. With creative roots in psychedelic and stoner rock, he references melodic music within the framework of his pieces in minimal spells, creating an effect on the listener that reflects his views on the lived experiences of those existing in postmodern society - long bouts of discomfort, confusion, entrancement, struggle, that are relieved by few and fragile moments of beauty, love, and release.
