Erika Soteri is a British-Cypriot singer-songwriter with Italian and Middle-Eastern roots. Much like her cultural background, her sound is an eclectic mix that tends to marry a fusion of soul, jazz, funk and r&b. Born into a family of musicians and creatives, Erika was organically sucked into the world of the arts and at just 2 years of age, she was enrolled into a school of the Performing Arts, where she began acting, dancing, singing and playing the piano. In her music, Erika explores her sense of identity, relationships, culture and her love for literature and art. She debuted in 2018 with her slinky neo-jazz song 'Pablo' and later gained exposure as a semi-finalist on The Voice of Greece in 2019. She has released several singles, including 'Caramel Cream' and has performed in festivals and venues all over Cyprus, Greece and the UK, including Fengaros Reacts in 2021. This year, Erika will be bringing her North London sound to the Fengaros Festival stage, featuring Kris Grecian on drums, Max Daniels on bass, Andreas Epaminonda on guitar, Pavlos Daniel Loucaides on keys and Elina El Malouli on backing vocals. Her debut EP is set to be released in 2023.
