Soon after releasing his second solo album “Dyo Lathi”, Fotis Siotas is launching into a fresh, contemporary and differentiated laiko sense with leanings towards worldwide folk traditions. By his side is a team of top-notch musicians in their own right including Dimitris Tsekouras on the double bass, Kleon Antoniou on electric guitar, Kostis Kostaki on steel guitar, Giorgos Fountoukos on classical guitar, Aggelos Polychronou on percussion, and Fotis Siotas on violin, guitar and voice.
Siotas’ set will include songs from his new album as well as selected favourites from “Ta Deytera”, his album marking the beginning of his collaboration with Thodoris Gkonis. Needless to say, the musical “passings-by'' to songs from other creatives that Siotas has joined forces with in his career and regularly interprets with his very own characteristic style, distinctive voice and experimental aesthetics, won’t be neglected.
