Demetris Mesimeris is a Cypriot songwriter active in Cyprus and Greece with multiple noteworthy live performances and broadcasted concerts. Mesimeris involves himself with whatever moves him musically - whether that be folk music or electronic sounds or something in between.
Following the release of his first full-length album ‘Eho Tou Kosmou Poiimata’ and recent singles, Demetris Mesimeris is presenting “Mesmerized”. The songwriter’s new project arranges songs from his existing discography including ‘Halali To Feggari’, ‘Profiteia’, ‘San Tha Zografiseis’ and more, with an atmospheric sense, rhythm and sound. For the first time, Mesimeris is also sharing unreleased songs from his upcoming album. Enveloping Mesimeris are Petros Papakonstantinou on the electric guitar and bass, Christodoulos Christodoulou on the violin, and Giorgos Zenios on the drums. Combining electronic sounds, loops, and ambience, together they generate a “mesmerized” aesthetic in Mesimeris’ songs.
